Mood: waiting for wind
2nd March 2012
Stand Up Paddle Boarding: Pevensey Bay
Wind Direction: N/A
Wind Stength:
Surf / Sea State: Small chop/swell
Air Temperature: Chilly but ok
Sea Temperature: Ok
Weather: Foggy!!
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Early morning SUP session with Ash in the Bay. Drove down into progressively thickening fog, couldn't see water from the car park, though it was always going to lift so no real stress.

First time SUP for Ash and he used his 11'5 Kona and paddle he borrowed from Gavalaar. I think the fog was a good thing as our SUP session was invisible to the masses ;)

Swapped boards about taking turns, and the 10'9 proved to be the easier, more stable SUP. Fair play to Ash, he persevered and was able to SUP both boards in tricky conditions.

Wasn't too cold, though not as warm as Wednesday, but my toes seemed a bit cold in the summer booties ?!?!

Quite a good laugh .... And good practice so we don't look like complete numpties come summer ;)
